  • Serves as supervisor over testing, troubleshooting and final adjustment of subassemblies, assemblies, and components used in electronic systems of guided missiles, ground equipment and associated test equipment.
  • Supervisor will be required to supervise subordinates.

  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electronics Mechanic Supervisor ~ without more than normal supervision. Ability to perform the most difficult and complex Electronics Mechanic Supervisor duties. Ability to do Investigating work-related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity, and determining the cause; planning current and future work schedules, budget requests, staffing needs, and estimates; planning current and future work schedules, budget requests, estimates; making recommendations as to scheduling painting projects; and assigning the amount of manpower needed to complete an air defense missile system repair job in an efficient amount of time. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
