Duties

Help
  • Monitors and reports on the status or progress of work.
  • Conducts evaluations of the organization's methods and utilizes knowledge to identify efficiencies.
  • Prepares mandatory reporting documents.
  • Presents or briefs reporting materials to various groups.
  • Advises peers and leadership on how to resolve program problems.
  • Analyzes inventory management, security and maintenance operations.
  • Explains options and procedures for filling requests.
  • Receives, reviews and acts to complete property declarations.
  • Reviews claim requests to make eligibility and claims justification determinations.
  • Ensures the complete investigation of all accidents or incidents which may give rise to a tort claim and documents findings.
  • Receives, reviews and analyzes monthly supply reports.
  • Verifies monthly leased vehicle billings.
  • Tracks budgetary allocations and disbursements.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including specialized experience as defined below.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience:

Specialized Experience: You must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing duties which include:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the acquisition, maintenance, utilization, disposition, accountability, or control of property or supplies.
  • Providing guidance and advising internal and external stakeholders to resolve investigations, accidents, or incidents that involve equipment or property.
  • Performing duties and tasks collecting information regarding stolen, damaged, or destroyed property.
  • Experience presenting, briefing, and training information to a variety of audiences and stakeholders.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
