You will serve as the Supervisor of the Working Dog/Military Working Dog section responsible for planning, directing, training and managing the operation.
You will train and lead explosive detector dog handlers in Bomb Threat clearing operations.
You will develop, schedule, coordinate, maintain, and lead the Working Dog/Military Working Dog training program.
You will perform law enforcement activities such as assisting in the investigation of crimes, responding to emergency calls, issuing citations, testifying in court proceedings and conducting vehicle and foot patrols.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Must have successfully completed the current MWD Basic Handler course at Lackland AFB or obtain approval through PM, MCLEP for other accredited course.
Must be a graduate or attend the first available school of the Military Working Dog Kennel Masters Course at Lackland AFB, TX
Incumbent must pass the Police Applicant Suitability Review (PASR) investigation.
Must be able to police equipment, certify in the use of radar detection and alcohol detection equipment, field sobriety tests, expandable or collapsible baton, and obtain other certifications required to accomplish the duties of a law enforcement officer
