Help

The incumbent will manage contractor resources, facilitate cross-functional teams, coordinate closely with subject matter experts across the judiciary, and engage with executive leadership to define business challenges, develop solution strategies, and support the successful delivery of technology and operational initiatives. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, task leadership, effective stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable plans and scalable solutions.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Facilitating and coordinating complex initiatives involving stakeholders across business, technical, and operations teams to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
  2. Conveying information and present initiatives to stakeholders and executive leadership, across the organization on a regular basis, in a clear and concise manner.
  3. Providing support to government task forces, with an understanding of the boundaries of inherently governmental functions that must be performed by federal employees.
  4. Collaborating with business stakeholders to advise on and develop technical solution designs within an Agile delivery framework.
  5. Partnering with cross-functional teams to define and execute delivery approaches that enable seamless transition from planning through implementation, particularly within multi-cloud environments.
  6. Guiding decision-making and program execution with cross-functional teams.
  7. Coordinating with Innovation and Research subject matter experts to develop proof of concepts and prototypes that support active programs and projects.

  7. If appointed to a temporary position, management may have the discretion of converting the position to permanent depending upon funding and staffing allocation.

Qualifications

Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.

1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience must demonstrate ALL areas defined below:

  1. Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams.
  2. Understanding of software development and DevSecOps.
  3. Experience with infrastructure design and solutions architecture.
  4. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, GoogleCloud Platform), including deployment, resource management, and cloud-native service integration.
Desired but not required
  • Expertise in architecting and implementing continuous delivery software pipelines.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure and cloud platform deployment.
  • Experience in Agile Process and tools e.g. JIRA
  • Understanding of government procurement processes
