Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation
(DMWR) Support Division at a large garrison.
Directs and develops finance and accounting operations through various services to include receipt of, distribution of, and accounting for NAF.
Maintains accounts showing status of installation allotments, assets, and liabilities.
Reviews and evaluates progress of program plans to determine whether overall objectives are being accomplished economically with reference to
budget and manpower.
Establishes current and long-range program, considering user desires for program/services, mission, strength, and facilities. Prioritizes programs, program changes, and projects in terms of user needs and affordability.
Serves on a variety of activity councils to keep informed of operations and/or to coordinate programs and requirements. Performs liaison with and coordinates programs with AAFES and other garrison agencies.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Minimum Qualifications:
Work Experience directing/managing one or more DMWR Support Management programs for a Garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one year.
Knowledge of programming, planning, budgeting, and long range planning.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
Highly Qualifying Criteria:
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a NAF Support Manager.
Minimum three (3) years of managerial experience within a NAF Support Management Division (e.g., Information Technology (IT), Marketing, or Financial Management (FM).
Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Government positions must include pay plan, series, grade, to and from dates, and government agency/department.
Applicants who meet both the minimum qualifications and highly qualified criteria will be referred to the selecting official for consideration first. Management may subsequently request to review a referral list of all minimally qualified applicants.
