You will conduct physical security surveys and crime prevention surveys.
You will participate in facility construction and renovation meetings.
You will be responsible for the daily support and maintenance of the installation Lost and Found Program.
You will support physical security education training programs for Military Police and Law Enforcement personnel assigned to the installation.
You will review all security requirement waivers and exemption requests from the installation and tenant commands.
You will formulate goals, objectives and solutions for budget submission for the physical security/crime prevention section programs.
You will be responsible for the application of security measures, equipment and requirements for physical security, crime prevention, anti-terrorism and force protection efforts aboard installation.
You will be responsible for the daily system administration of Marine Corps Electronic Security System (MCESS) aboard installation; provide emergency after-hours support.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
This position requires rotating shift work.
Qualifications
GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Maintaining key control; inspecting, analyzing, and evaluating security systems; utilizing various security systems and databases (such as the Marine Corps Electronic Security System (MCESS); AND assisting with developing security program policies and procedures.
GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with maintaining key control, reviewing security systems, and support Physical Security Specialists.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09: Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree.

Have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.

Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
