As a Management & Program Analyst (Proj Mgr), GS-0343-11/12, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and supporting projects that enhance the CMS's preparedness and response to public health emergencies and other disasters.
Manages moderately complex and integrated projects or significant phases of larger, more complex initiatives from initiation through closeout.
Prepares the agency to protect the health and safety of Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries and ensure readiness and resilience during emergencies.
Develops and applies foundational to intermediate skills in project management, data analysis, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and process improvement to support mission-aligned initiatives.
Supports projects using established methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and basic process improvement techniques to assist with scope definition, resource coordination, risk identification, and quality assurance in time-bound projects.
Involves supporting new service development, assisting with process improvements, capacity building, technology, or contributing to organizational initiatives.
