Duties

Help

Office Administration & Customer Service: Performs general office duties, including receiving telephone calls, tending to customers, completing work and email orders, routing correspondence, and maintaining both electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
Document & Print Production: Utilizes Microsoft Office and Adobe design programs to produce customer order proofs, documents, and other projects from pre-designed templates. Operates production equipment including printers, copiers, scanners, and folding/cutting machines.
Marketing & Publicity Support: Assists in preparing, producing, and distributing publications and marketing materials for squadron activities, programs, and functions (e.g., magazine booklets, brochures, calendars, flyers, posters, banners, signs, and slide presentations).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Applicants must have measurable experience in digital marketing, social media management, or web content administration. Experience must demonstrate the ability to create engaging digital media, manage professional social media accounts, track platform analytics, and independently support promotional events. Working knowledge of design/publishing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and/or Premier Pro or similar required. Experience which provides a general knowledge of marketing/advertising principles and practices. Ability to take well composed quality photographs/video with a digital camera.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
