Summary

Provides advice and performs assistance work for the Medical Center and the VISN Financial Quality Assurance Manager. The duties may include ad hoc facility-level data validation for the Medical Center and/or Network level reporting purpose.
Performs financial audits by examining accounts and financial records for the purpose of certifying financial statements.
Develops and plans programs for achieving and maintaining total quality transaction processing and customer service throughout the business cycle.
Performs a variety of duties to carry out, administer, or advise the Network Financial Quality Assurance Manager on facility financial work.
Conduct some of the audits and may be responsible to form audit teams made up of medical center staff with appropriate expertise.
Assist in the development of the audit protocols used by the teams, will train the teams if necessary, will review their findings.

Set aside at least 3 hours to take the USA Hire Assessments; however, most applicants complete the assessments in less time. If you need to stop the assessments and continue later, you can re-use your unique assessment link. NOTE: Your responses to the USA Hire Assessments will be reused for one year (in most cases) from the date you complete an assessment. If future applications you submit require completion of the same assessments, your responses will be automatically reused.

Next steps
Once your online application is submitted you will receive a confirmation notification by email. After we receive application packages (including all required assessments and documents) and the vacancy announcement closes, we will review applications to ensure qualification and eligibility requirements are met. After the review is complete, a referral certificate(s) is issued, and applicants will be notified of their status by email.
