Serves a Supervisory Fire Protection Specialist (Training) responsibility for developing and conducting the overall Fire, Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and Wild Land Firefighting.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience training personnel in appropriate firefighter techniques and methods such as fire protection, hazardous materials response, technical rescue fire prevention, emergency medical and disaster preparedness; administer and monitor a firefighter training program; conduct safety related training and assist in accident investigations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10)..
