Formulate integrated, multi-appropriation budget submissions (e.g., BES, PB) to align command resources with DoW and national strategic guidance.
Produce comprehensive budget justification documentation (e.g., reclamas, exhibits) to secure funding and address Congressional and Joint Staff inquiries.
Analyze emerging legislative and policy directives to forecast resource impacts and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Consolidate complex, command-wide budget inputs to evaluate operational trade-offs and produce balanced, multi-year funding plans.
Execute advanced financial data analytics (e.g., data mining, trend analysis) to defend estimates and resolve systemic program vulnerabilities.
Defend strategic, command-level budget positions during high-stakes reviews with OSW, Joint Staff, and Service Components.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in DoDI 1400.25 V3005, Cyber Excepted Service, Employment and Placement.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
