Summary

You will direct, coordinate, and review work plan; assign work tasks and projects; monitor work flow; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures; meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.
You will prepare or direct the preparation of wide variety of studies and reports related to the electrical distribution, electronic operation and power generation systems needs and develop specific proposals and work plans to meet them.
You will provide instructions, safety standards and procedures, overall priorities and policies to control work operations and accomplish an adequate and quality of work ensuring that all safety precautions are being followed.
You will inspect operations and projects to confirm conformance with operations and goals and objectives, and ensures compliance with all pertinent codes, regulations and guidelines.
You will monitor, research, develop and recommend improvements, modifications, enhancements and changes to electrical distribution system to ensure that future operations and infrastructure meet service needs and maintain regulatory compliance.
You will respond to power distribution system emergencies, will coordinate wit other agencies regarding power outages and will respond to emergency situations as necessary.
You will plan and evaluate staff performance, plan work assignments, provide training and will recommend awards and address performance deficiencies.
