Help
  • You will plan, organize, and oversee product support planning and management for Flight Systems acquisition programs.
  • You will exercise supervisory management and counsel military and civilian personnel on management policies and procedures.
  • You will manage organizational changes and resource allocation for integrated product support to meet command goals.
  • You will advise command leaders on development product support operations and policy revisions to ensure mission success.
  • You will formulate policies and coordinate relationships between strategic weapon systems and contractor organizations.
  • You will direct and coordinate PMO Flight Systems tasks for all integrated product support efforts.
  • You will coordinate program plan development and implementation among the agency, prime contractors, and external partners.
  • You will plan, organize, and oversee development and support activities to maintain the readiness of assigned weapon systems.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Experience directing product support, configuration management, and sustainment planning for complex programs, including hardware alterations and financial operations.
