Description:
The Space Delta 7 (DEL 7) Intelligence Directorate (S2) at Peterson Space Force Base is seeking a Senior Security Manager to serve as the Delta-level security authority protecting critical Space Force and Combat Forces Command (CFC) operations from espionage, unauthorized disclosure, and insider threats. Operating with full authority to make independent decisions affecting enterprise-wide information protection, the incumbent will administer and enforce robust Information, Personnel, Physical, and Industrial Security programs across the Delta. Key responsibilities include overseeing classification and declassification policies, managing personnel security clearances and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditations, and providing critical Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) support for DEL 7 missions. Additionally, the role involves directing facility security compliance for defense contractors, conducting rigorous vulnerability assessments, resolving complex security policy conflicts, and exercising supervisory personnel management for a specialized security staff to ensure uncompromising mission assurance and the safeguarding of national defense intelligence.

The ideal candidate is an expert security professional possessing a profound understanding of advanced security concepts, requirements, and technologies, paired with the strategic ability to coordinate and integrate multiple specialized security programs to promote secure information sharing. They bring exceptional analytical skills to evaluate complex mission vulnerabilities and develop cost-effective, multi-disciplined security solutions tailored to highly specific situations. Highly adept at interpreting and implementing a wide array of security laws, directives, and DoD/USSF regulations, they effectively guide subordinate organizations in establishing robust internal security postures. Furthermore, the candidate is a collaborative leader with outstanding oral and written communication skills, enabling them to build strong professional relationships, articulate critical security requirements to diverse audiences, and drive mission success within a high-stakes operational environment.

Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of a wide range of advanced concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices involved in security.
2. Knowledge of security program interrelationships to coordinate the objectives and plans of two or more specialized programs to support and promote information sharing and strategies.
3. Skill to interpret a variety of security program laws, directives, regulations, and guidance to assist subordinate organizations in establishing and operating internal security programs.
4. Skill in the use of analytical principles, practices, and techniques to review, evaluate, and apply several alternatives according to the security requirements for highly specific situations, availability of materials, relationships with other protective programs, and cost/benefit considerations.
5. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately to a large range of audiences.
6. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
