Duties

Help
  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for the Support Services Division, overseeing a diverse portfolio of programs including Financial Management, Marketing, Information Technology, and NAF Contracting.
  • Develop, administer, and implement long-range strategic plans, policies, and procedures to ensure all divisional activities align with mission objectives, governing regulations, and professional standards.
  • Exercise robust financial and performance oversight by directing accounting operations, analyzing budget reports, evaluating program effectiveness, and implementing corrective actions to ensure fiscal responsibility and service efficiency.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of subordinate activity managers, effectively communicating organizational goals and fostering a collaborative environment to drive mission success and exceptional service delivery for the garrison community.
  • Serve as the key liaison for DFMWR support management, collaborating with internal councils, program managers, and external community partners to coordinate requirements and develop innovative joint programs.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

  • one (1) year experience directing one or more Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Support Management programs for a garrison or similar civilian community.

PCS Costs
  • Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
    • In accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations, most individuals will be authorized movement of Household Goods, Temporary Storage, and Air, POV, or Rail Transportation to your new duty station. A rental car is NOT authorized. In addition, some individuals may also be authorized Temporary Quarters Subsistence Expenses (TQSE).
Allowances and Differentials
  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Night differential and Sunday Premium Pay have NOT been authorized by the Garrison Commander for NF positions and will not be paid to any NF employees.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
