All candidates who are:
(1) Current United States Mint employees who are qualifying as Status Eligibles or currently serving on a Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA),
(2) CTAP eligible.
Plan daily, weekly or monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
Promote the participation of subordinates in management programs such as beneficial suggestions, quality assurance, and cost reduction.
Counsel employees, adjust informal complaints and grievances through discussion with employees and union representatives, and initiates disciplinary actions as needed.
Determine how manual assignments can be done correctly or which must be delayed; the number and types of employees needed, considering skills of personnel available to do the work; and the availability of materials and equipment required.
All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines.
All newly appointed employees to the competitive (or excepted) service are subject to a probationary (or trial) period. During this time, your performance, conduct, and suitability for continued employment will be evaluated. You will not automatically convert to permanent status at the end of the probationary (or trial) period. Your supervisor must affirmatively determine that continued employment is in the best interest of the Federal service.
