Plans, analyzes, coordinates and accomplishes studies to identify and determine the local MTF network administrative and technical requirements
Takes action to develop, implement, monitor, and maintain network systems/network activities/
Administers all the local MTF network security devices, to include the Firewall, IPS, IDS, and isolated VLAN configurations
Prepares, disseminates, and maintains plans, instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) concerning network security.
Perform supervisory duties for four GS employees and one contractor. Develops performance appraisals for timely completion and submission. Approves and disapproves leave and manages time and attendance.
Appointment is subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Position may be considered weather and mission essential.
This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
