Ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security program, policies, procedures, and tools.
Develop policies and procedures to ensure information systems are reliable and accessible, and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.

Qualifications

In addition to meeting the basic requirement, you must have one year specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level. Specialized experience is: as monitoring, systems' certification, compliance reporting, web proxy access control lists management, and incident response or conducting vulnerability assessments, implementing contingency plans, OR directing cybersecurity project resource allocations to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational systems and networks.

Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement.
