Duties

Help
  • You will serve as the civilian personnel and military manpower analyst responsible for coordinating all manpower directed changes throughout the SWSC domain.
  • You will provide management advisory services concerning program cost analysis, productivity enhancing capital investment programs, outsourcing and privatization studies, work measurement, engineered studies, etc.
  • You will research, interpret, analyze and apply manpower and organization regulations, directives, and policies for application to service support programs.

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For the GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Implementing goals and objectives that integrate manpower and organization office objectives; 2) Assisting with researching, interpreting, analyzing and applying manpower regulations and policies for application to support programs; 3) Coordinating special projects and initiates milestones and goals; 4) Preparing briefs on new developments in manpower management, competitive sourcing and privatization.

For the GS-09:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting with implementing goals and objective that integrate manpower and organization office objectives; 2) Applying manpower regulations and policies for application to support programs; 3) Documenting special projects, milestones and goals; 4) Researching new developments in manpower management, competitive sourcing and privatization.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-11:
Successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a doctoral degree
OR
Successfully completed a LL.M., if related

GS-9:Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree
OR
Successfully completed a LL.B or J.D., if related
