As a IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) at the GS-2210-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Analyze organizational processes to plan, design, and implement new and improved information systems to meet the IT requirements of the organization.
Monitors projects that will assign additional systems management support tasks to the organization to ensure the proposed processor architecture and software can be supported.
Assist faculty in support of online training (OLT) courses, virtual instructor-led training (VILT) courses, and education and training for all academic Areas of Concentration (AoCs) taught by DSCU, with focus on application of the specific SC competencies required for different
segments of the SC Workforce and SC Enterprise.
Oversea the documentation and reporting of activities within their functional area to ensure accountability, quality control, and a record of activities.
Researches, provides analysis, reviews, and produces original content related to IT policy and planning and broader SC.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Performing analyses to define solutions for new or improved business processes;
Preparing business cases for the application of IT solutions for the organization;
Developing cost estimates for new or modified systems; and
Preparing long-range forecasts of developments and recommendations which may be of interest and value to the organization.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
Incumbent must attain DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) Certification and complete related continuous learning requirements in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2017, Title 10 United States Code, Section 384, and Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program 2.0 requirements. Incumbent must complete DoD SCW Basic-level certification courses within one year. Requirements for Proficiency Level 1 - At least 1 year of successful SC work experience with a performance appraisal rating of 3 or better. Incumbent must complete DoD SCW Foundational level certification requirements within one year of entering the SC position. In addition, 40 hours of continuing education (CUE) every two years.
