About the Position: You will serve as a Team Lead for the Installation Support Team within the Management & Disposal Branch of the Baltimore District Real Estate Division. This team is responsible for providing critical, full-spectrum real estate services-specifically complex property management, outgrants, and disposal actions-in support of military installations and other DoD customers.

This team is responsible for providing critical, full-spectrum real estate services-specifically complex property management, outgrants, and disposal actions-in support of military installations and other DoD customers.
Execute the Army National Program within the Baltimore District, ensuring compliance inspections are completed in accordance with ER 405-1-12 Chapter 8 as well as assisting Team Members to renew existing expired outgrants.
Provide quality assurance of all teamwork product before it reaches the Branch Chief.
Direct and guide all branch activities within the assigned branch team.
Lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees.
Oversee the negotiation and integration of all aspects of the project with various stakeholders.
Administer the acquisition, Enhanced Use Leasing (EUL), and management and disposal programs.
Provide advice, assistance, and support on real estate acquisition, management, and disposal matters.
Coordinate activities involving the preparation and issuance of acquisition documents, permits, leases, and easements.
Manage outgrants of non-excess installation real estate in accordance with prepared Reports of Availability.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires that the incumbent possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Performing real estate actions that apply technical expertise of real estate principles, policies or methodologies; 2) Overseeing a variety of real estate functions such as planning, acquisition, relocations, mapping, appraisals, leases, easements, licenses or permits; 3) Managing project workloads to include schedule and budget oversight; and 4) Providing guidance on real estate issues, policies and changes that impact real estate projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
