Duties

Help
  • Provides technical assistance to managers concerning appropriated and non-appropriated fund budgeting.
  • Ensures the correct production of budgets and their execution including compliance with appropriate regulations, etc.
  • Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position
  • Performs analyses of perform financial statements for proposed ventures; prepares/reviews return on investment schedules for capital projects; assists and guides managers deciding on capital reinvestments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

Work experience which includes:
1) interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems;
2) interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; and
3) requiring the application of commercial budgeting techniques.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

1.Possess at least three (3) years of experience with DOD NAF MWR in field that requires financial knowledge.
2.Must have knowledge of AR215-1 or equivalent and internal controls.
3.Must have knowledge of NAF and APF (UFM - Uniform Funding Management) Funding.
4.Do you have proficiency in business intelligence tools?
