The area of consideration for this position is CAT 2 (Areas 1-2) and includes North Carolina (Title 5) CURRENT ON-BOARD applicants. Applications will only be accepted from current Permanent and Excepted Indefinite (Title 5 Employees) assigned to the, JFHQ - USPFO with North Carolina National Guard.

Duties

As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-7, you will perform routine and non-routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops; be responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which require technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy; be responsible for limited aspects of storage management; perform other duties as assigned.

  • You may be required to successfully complete a 1- or 2- year probation/trail period to assess performance, conduct, agency needs, public interest, and efficiency. Employment ends unless certified in writing that it advances the agencies interest.

  • This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 12 months 1 year equivalent experience to at least next lower grade level.
