Duties

Help

This position assists with all aspects of the marketing program; promotes products, services, programs and activities through publicity
and marketing. Collects and disseminates information about squadron programs and activities. Disseminates a wide variety of
marketing media including print materials, calendars, digital media and brochures. Communicates marketing submission e-mail to
activity managers; tracks incoming submissions and verifies with marketing team coordination ofworkflow. Works closely other
marketing staff to support briefings such as Newcomers, FTAC, and Town Halls.

Completes record keeping, generates sponsorship and advertising contracts, enters team hours into payroll software, performs inventory and updates accounting system. ConductsCommercial Sponsorship and Commercial Advertising. Compiles list of viable annual events and programs to seek commercialsponsorship.

Develops solicitation packet and solicits sponsorship from local, regional, national and international sponsors.
Negotiates mutually beneficial sponsorship terms and executes all supporting documents. Coordinates with the installation's Staff
Judge Advocate to ensure terms of each sponsorship agreement follows all procedural guidance, regulations and policies.

Ensures AF and sponsor compliance with sponsorship agreement. Attends events and serves as point of contact for sponsors at event. Compiles
and provides sponsor with copies of subsequent publicity and develops appropriate thank you letter and after action report. Stays
current on all aspects of administration of the Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising program. Identifies advertising vehicles to
market under marketing program.

Recommends or submits for approval to the Marketing Director pricing and rate structure for paid advertising in squadron publications, point of sale venues and collateral materials such as place-mats, bowling center scoring screens and other approved locations. Proposes terms of advertising agreement for approval to the Marketing Director and executes all supporting documents. Tracks payment of advertising to ensure proper accountability and credit to MWRF Fund. Serves as POC for sponsors at events. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:

Progressive experience in marketing, sponsorship and advertising principles and practices. This experience may have been gained in a commercial marketing or advertising department or agency. Experience developing advertising copy, soliciting sponsorship agreements and implementing new programs is preferred. Must be available for occasional nights, weekends, or holidays.

Successful completion of a Tier l (Tl), previously known as National Agency Check with Inquiries, is required. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner and provide a copy of his/her driving record. Due to the driving requirement, this is a drug testing designated position and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
