Duties

Help
  • Manages strategic and operational planning and oversight for four of CNMF’s Joint Task Forces as an integral part of task force executed operations that meet C-MCA and C-National Instruments of Power mission requirements.
  • Plans, develops, coordinates, synchronizes, and supports the execution of defensive operations and activities in support of CNMF operational activities against malicious cyberspace actors.
  • Provides management/curation of refined standard operating procedures for the employment of CNMF mission elements in support of the counter-malicious cyberspace actors global mission supporting USCYBERCOM guidance to defend the nation in cyberspace.
  • Provides expert planning and coordination with CNMF Intelligence, Information Operations, Mission Management and Fires for the integration on defensive cyberspace operations with all mission partners.
  • Assure CNMF’s readiness to address operational contingencies and supports fostering/refinement mission critical partnerships w/ government, allied, foreign and other organizations to counter malicious cyber activities defending nation in cyberspace.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
  • This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP). Employee must pass initial and periodic random drug testing.
  • The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
  • Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft up to 25% of the time.
  • The incumbent may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by leading the development of strategic, operational, and tactical plans in defense of critical infrastructure and or key resources for cyberspace operations; providing expertise and coordination internally and externally
for offensive, defensive, and information cyberspace operations; and developing strategic, operational, and tactical plans to execute cyberspace operations to protect national interest against malicious cyberspace intent.

  • If you are a current federal career/career-conditional employee, you will be placed on an excepted appointment.
