Perform as a first line supervisor for the Computer Assisted Ordering Technician
Interfaces with all levels of store management on Computer Assisted Ordering issues as needed, and deals directly with commercial distributor representative and vendor stocking representatives on issues affecting Computer Assisted Ordering.
Evaluates stock levels of all Computer Assisted Ordering categories daily, by physically reviewing the storage and display shelf locations, shippers and warehouse.
Maintains the Computer Assisted Ordering system with current, accurate data to ensure optimal order quantities are calculated necessary to sustain customer demands.
Processes requests for customer special orders; monitors paperwork and ensures product is ordered in a timely manner, keeps in contact with customer to advise on status and ensures product is ready for pickup.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal Service which includes training other employees regularly; assisting managers with workload distribution for other employees; performing warehouse inventory and providing instructions on administrative matters.

Access for civilian employees and their families to military medical and dental treatment facilities is on a space-available and reimbursable basis only.
Pay retention may be offered to selected applicants for positions at overseas locations. Pay retention will not be offered as an incentive for employees moving between overseas positions.
