Sets up and operates engraving machines to engrave a variety of items. Makes changes in machine setup, such as readjusting for different sizes of work piece or changes in shape.
Uses specialized, computer based equipment for engraving and framing to create custom projects for patrons with a variety of materials to include paper mats, metal , glass, wood, etc.
Uses other specialized equipment such as beveling machine, laser engraver, and COREL DRAW software, heat presses, copy machines and plastic/metal shears.
Provides information and general instruction on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery. Provides one on one customer consultations. Provides safety instruction and demonstrates safe use of equipment.
Participates in special events to market the engraving/framing services. Assists with placing orders with vendors for materials and supplies. Assists in the collection of fees, bank deposits, and daily activity report submissions.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.

Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

Must be available to work a varying/rotating schedule to include mornings, afternoons, early evening, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Allowances and Differentials
This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
