Assignments may also include responsibility for developing guidelines for use by traffic managers or specialists at the same or lower levels in the organization.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees Applying on Time-Limited Assignments
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) coordinating transportation services with partner agencies to meet mission requirements; 2) resolving transportation issues to ensure cargo is delivered on schedule; and 3) processing cargo manifests within defense or global transportation networks to accurately track shipments.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
