As a Human Resources Specialist (Employment Solutions) (Staffing Specialist), GS-0201-9, your typical work assignments may include:
Providing staffing, recruitment and placement administrative support services.
Participating in Agency recruitment drives, examining, applicant ratings, and qualification determinations to include preparing postings to fill vacancies under the Merit Promotion, Delegating Examining, and Excepted Service programs.
Performing a variety of personnel management services which vary from routine to the more complex and difficult aspects of the personnel management field which involves the identification, analysis and solution of personnel problems.

IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT
The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Specialist (Employment Solutions) (Staffing Specialist) position will have experience supporting federal staffing, recruitment, and pay administration programs, including assisting with job announcements, applicant evaluations, and onboarding activities. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to apply HR policies, procedures, and regulations to resolve routine to moderately complex personnel issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively assist employees, advise managers, and interact with applicants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment, and committed to delivering accurate, timely, and customer-focused HR services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for this position, applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-07 grade level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the Human Resources Specialist (Employment Solutions) (Staffing Specialist) GS-09 grade level.
Specialized experience includes:
Experience assisting with federal staffing and recruitment activities, including preparing job announcements, reviewing applications for qualifications, rating candidates, and supporting the hiring process under Merit Promotion, Delegated Examining, or Excepted Service procedures; and
Experience providing guidance and support to employees and management on routine to moderately complex human resources matters, including identifying issues, gathering and analyzing information, and applying HR policies, procedures, and regulations to recommend solutions; and
Experience communicating HR-related information both orally and in writing, including assisting with employee orientations, responding to inquiries, and interacting with applicants, employees, and management to provide accurate and timely service.

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. (NOTE: You must submit a copy of official transcripts.)

TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS
