About the Position: You will plan, manage, and direct all activities including maintenance, repair, security, safety, property accountability, space utilization / management, office layouts, remodeling, alterations, securing / maintaining appropriate support services in heating, air conditioning, water & electrical service needs, janitorial / custodial services, relationships w/vendors, concessionaires, visitor control.
Plans major renovations and construction projects, based on forecasted building and land utilization.
Formulates and puts into effect sustainable operations and maintenance plans, to include economical space and work management operations policies, criteria, and procedures.
Develops, evaluates, and implements immediate and long-range goals, objectives, budget projections, plans and schedules to meet substantial changes in program authority and/or funding.
Assignments include tasks related to the museum building, amphitheater, parade field, Army trail and grounds operations, maintenance and utilization.
Assures facilities and their operations comply with laws and regulations.
Serves as Contracting Officer's Representative on engineering, maintenance, and service contracts.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Maintain and/or obtain Top Secret Security Clearance.
This position is covered by the Civilian Drug Abuse Testing Program.
This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
