The United States Space Force (USSF) at Patrick SFB, FL is searching for a Program Manager to support SLD 45 Consolidated Safety Support Contract (CSSC) and to serve as the Resource Program Manager for Space Launch Delta 45 Safety Office (NH-0301-03, GS-12/13 equivalent).

Description:
Ideal candidate will provide Program Management of Safety Support Contracts with oversight for all Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) monitoring and assessing various technical areas while regularly documenting contractor performance. Review, manage and approve all billings (invoices) submitted by Safety Support Contractors. As Safety's Resource Manager, provide critical management of SE's resources by effectively planning, scheduling, and organizing manpower and financial assets. Effectively operate the installation's personnel resource systems and manage SE requirements to obtain, employ, and retain the best possible agents of safety. Develop, submit and track all assigned military and civilian personnel actions, ensuring timely processing and completion. Submit requests for personnel action for all anticipated and expected personnel changes including new hires, changes to work schedule type, or personal information requiring update in an employee's official record. Manage the SE training program announcing availability of funds to supervisors and processing SF182 requests for training. Maintain liaison with the installation training office and advocate for new funding to meet all SE professional training needs.

Ideal Candidate:
Knowledge of processes and procedures related to program management and strategic planning activities needed to execute projects and/or studies within established financial and time constraints. Ability to encourage new ideas and innovations; manage human, financial and information resources strategically and build coalitions to achieve common goals. Skill in working with customers to assess needs, provide assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations.
Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate level Secret clearance or other appropriate level clearance as required by the Mission needs.

6. Ability to organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements; determine goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinate with other organizations; monitor progress, and evaluate outcomes.
7. Ability to identify problems and use sound judgment and decisions to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations.

  • Must be a U.S Citizen.
  • PCS funding is available (Centrally Managed Position).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
  • May be required travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
  • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
  • Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed "Unscheduled Telework"
  • Subject to TDY 15 days per year.
