Duties

Help
  • You will oversee and monitor investigative reporting systems to track errors, determine types of, and reasons of errors.
  • You will evaluate and analyze data and develop strategies and/or solutions to resolve issues and make necessary adjustments in training modules.
  • You will conduct studies to determine effectiveness and efficiency of administrative processes and procedures in support of the operational mission.
  • You will attend and participate in meetings to advise on status of training, workload, advance planning of projects, and to submit recommendations for improvement in productive capability and processes.
  • You will identify problem areas through the review of documentation, personnel interviews and general observations of office composition.
  • You will supervise, plan and direct work of subordinate personnel.
  • You will visit and conduct onsite inspections of subordinate offices to ensure administrative functions are in compliance with policy and directives.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Planning and performing a variety of administrative and program management functions
  • Providing or ensuring such services as case and records management, property management, budget-accounts tracking, timekeeping, transportation and employee travel.
  • Identifying, compiling, extracting, interpreting, integrating, evaluating, and applying information from a wide variety of sources, performing management and measurement assignments, reporting findings, drawing conclusions, and solving an array of administrative and management/program analysis problems.
  • Preparing administrative/program guidance, reports, letters, memos and forms, and reviewing these types of documents.

GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Providing administrative support which includes office budgeting, property management, arranging travel, data processing and files management, time and attendance issues.
  • Providing support with report writing and submitting entries into databases.

Applicants that do not meet the specialized experience may qualify with education or a combination of experience and education as listed below.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related

GS-09:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
