State by State Website Update:

This project involves modernizing the Department of State by State website, which has been archived because the information is from the last Administration and has not been updated since 2023.  The intern will conduct a comprehensive content audit, research and update state-specific data including employee statistics and departmental initiatives, and work with the web development team to implement a refreshed design that aligns with current Department branding and accessibility standards. The project will enhance user experience through improved navigation, mobile responsiveness, and contemporary web design principles while ensuring Section 508 compliance. This hands-on opportunity will allow the intern to develop skills in web content management, data research, user experience design, and project coordination while contributing to a public-facing resource that demonstrates the Department's nationwide presence and impact.
