Summary

Plans, analyzes, interprets, and evaluates program operations and services to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
Supervises and directs the operations by planning and assigning work to staff based on management priorities, employee capabilities, and schedules.
Develops and implements policies and procedures for the management and delivery of simplified acquisition, procurement, and contracting services.
Plans, organizes, and carries out budget planning and administration for programs and activities.
Provides project management expertise on a broad range of high-priority, cross-cutting, difficult, and complex projects of significance in diverse areas related to the center’s mission.
Develops organizational guidelines, policies and standard operation procedures and makes major recommendations concerning space and facilities programs and services.
U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for a Supervisory Program Specialist, GS-0301-14 position, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: conducting analytical studies and evaluations of program operations and administrative support functions such as budget, procurement, personnel, or supply management; assessing organizational performance and developing recommendations to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and service delivery; identifying and resolving complex programmatic or administrative issues impacting mission accomplishment; and advising leadership on process improvements, policy implementation, and strategic operational initiatives.
