Duties

Help

Uses Microsoft Office Suite to produce a variety of documents for Fam Camp operations. May transmit and receive documents and messages electronically using personal computer or workstation that is networked or linked to other computers or workstations throughout the work area or organization. Maintains complex reservation system using text, phone, and email messaging. Assigns sites to guests and creates reservations. Collects deposits and fees. Creates daily 1875 financial documents and creates daily 1878 deposits. Enters daily paperwork in Online cost center. Processes credit card payments and issues refunds. Sorts mail and packages. Assists customers with propane refills. Schedules community center events. Assists the Facility Manager with work related duties. Reports maintenance issues to CE and tracks repairs. Maintains Fam Camp payment system to verify all payments. Completes daily register reconciliation reports for receipts and deposits. Assists guests with issues or problems. Assists manager with budget preparations. Oversees employee Computer Based Training (CBT). Performs other duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:

Must be familiar with word processing programs. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Familiar with Fam Camp rules, regulations, and guide. A valid driver's license is required. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must be able to work outdoors in hot/cold/rainy weather.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
