Duties

Help
  • You will extract data points from various resources, including command, medical, and case management reports for input into data systems.
  • You will organize data into standardized format using established data management structures for reporting.
  • You will identify problems involved in the input, retrieval or modification of database information and the general operation and maintenance of the corporate data system elements or sub-elements.
  • You will provide interpretations of established regulations and guidance concerning database systems and coordinate resolution of problem areas encountered with higher levels.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: analyzing, collecting, organizing, cleaning, tracking, and/or extracting data from various resources related to behavior health incidents (e.g. suicide, domestic and child abuse, substance abuse, and sexual assault); and providing process improvement recommendations to management.

Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
