Responsibility for transforming initial rough product designs into working documents using computer-aided drafting and design (CAD) tools, including AutoCAD, as well as diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio
Reviews engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards
Proactively plans for, develops, and assists in the implementation and coordination of network installation, augments, maintenance, and restoration activities
Maintains a library of network design documentation and head and design documentation, and provide updates to all engineering and technical staff as requested
Conducts technical and physical surveys, to identify and propose complicated and non-standard customer solutions.
This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-12, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: experience drafting network architectures with CAD tools, reviewing engineering specifications, or conducting technical surveys to propose and implement non-standard networking solutions.
