Must be able to obtain (within 6 months of employment) and retain at own expense a Class A Commercial Drivers license (CDL).
This position requires a medical examination prior to employment.
Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
Must be able to obtain and retain a Chemical Limited Area Badge.

Physical Effort: Incumbent lifts cartons of material, i.e., gloves, respirators, protective masks and hoods, protective suits and cleaning material, etc. weighing approximately 20 pounds. Occasionally items weighing up to 50 pounds may be Required to push, pull, reach, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, sit and long periods of standing.
Work Conditions: Work is performed inside the maintenance shop the majority of the time, with occasional outside duties in connection with performance tests of equipment. Work is subject to burns while testing flame throwers and smoke generators
