Qualifications

Physical Demands:
The incumbent manages a project office at the contractor's facility (i.e. shipyard). While much of the work is sedentary, there is a requirement to tour ships in various stages of renovation/repair and participate in at-sea shipboard trials. Daily shipboard observations requires, climbing, bending, stooping and even crawling.
Required to travel, via all modes of transportation, in the Fifth and Sixth Fleet AOR, CON US, and FDRMC, Naples.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in an office setting within an industrial shipyard, with considerable (daily) exposure to shipyard conditions where safety shoes, glasses, and hard hats are required. The incumbent is also required (occasionally) to participate in at-sea shipboard trials.
