You will plan, coordinate, and implement programs in fish and wildlife management.
You will review and interpret policy, guidelines, standards and techniques in light of current conditions, and providing staff advice and assistance to the Head of Natural Resources Section.
You will develop and implement annual and long-range management plans for fish and wildlife resource management, proposed budget and allocations of funds, manpower necessary for executing the various projects.
You will review program work for attainment of Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) goals and objectives pertaining to fish and wildlife resources.
You will design and conducts threatened and endangered species surveys to ensure listed species or species of concern are not impacted by any current or future activities.
You will develop, implement, and administer a comprehensive, scientifically based program in natural resource management, with emphasis on sustainable integration of the program with the military mission and other conservation programs.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, and implementing programs in fish and wildlife management, dispersed outdoor recreation, and research study design and analysis AND adapting, developing, interpreting, and applying all applicable natural resources and environmental laws.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Degree: biological science that included:
At least 9 semester hours in such wildlife subjects as mammalogy, ornithology, animal ecology, wildlife management, or research courses in the field of wildlife biology; and
At least 12 semester hours in zoology in such subjects as general zoology, invertebrate zoology, vertebrate zoology, comparative anatomy, physiology, genetics, ecology, cellular biology, parasitology, entomology, or research courses in such subjects (Excess courses in wildlife biology may be used to meet the zoology requirements where appropriate.); and
At least 9 semester hours in botany or the related plant sciences.
or
Combination of education and experience: equivalent to a major in biological science (i.e., at least 30 semester hours), with at least 9 semester hours in wildlife subjects, 12 semester hours in zoology, and 9 semester hours in botany or related plant science, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
