Duties

Help

Responsible for managing numerous manual and automated systems and software programs necessary for third party billing and collections.
Enter and extract accounts data for reports needed by supervisor or management officials.
Assist in monitoring the precertification process to insure that all patients are pre-certified by the pre-certification nurse/insurance company for hospitalization.
Conduct regular reviews of Accounts Receivable to identify positive or negative trends.
Seek assistance from the legal officer to process inpatient/outpatient insurance claims that require legal interpretations and/or intervention.
Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures.
