As a IT Specialist (NETWORK/CUSTSPT) at the GS-2210-13/14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Directs the monitoring and management of DARPA's unclassified and classified network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wireless), ensuring optimal performance, and availability.
Guides the network operations team in troubleshooting and resolving complex network outages and performance degradations, acting as the final authority on major incident response.
Directs the development and maintenance of a comprehensive IT knowledge base and service catalog to improve first-call resolution rates and enhance user self-service capabilities.
Acts as the principal advisor to the DARPA CIO, Deputy Director and Chief of Operations on the security posture of the IT support and network infrastructure, managing plans of action and milestones (POA&Ms) for all identified vulnerabilities.
Directs the strategic management and operational optimization of the agency's Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) architecture, ensuring secure, resilient, and application-aware connectivity between headquarters, and all remote sites.
