Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Equipment Specialist to serve as the logistical backbone for critical projects, acting as the primary guardian of equipment data throughout the complete lifecycle of mission-essential assets. In this role, you will ensure the total accuracy of Logistics Product Data (LPD) from initial planning through long-term sustainment, providing the vital foundation upon which the readiness and operational availability of advanced systems are built. As a dedicated data professional and project logistician for multiple fast-paced teams, you will oversee the cataloging process and meticulously review data integrity to ensure every piece of equipment is tracked, every technical manual is accounted for, and all systems remain fully supportable for years to come. Your expertise in building a flawless data picture is essential to guaranteeing long-term mission success and system reliability.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive familiarity with ILS-S and a robust background in logistics, equipment management, or the Technical Order Management Agent (TOMA) function, supported by direct experience serving as a project-level logistician for technical initiatives. They must demonstrate a proven history of managing and validating Logistics Product Data (LPD) and a comprehensive understanding of the federal cataloging process, including practical expertise in reviewing complex data submissions for precision. This background should showcase a mastery of equipment tracking and the ability to interpret critical technical documentation-such as technical orders, engineering drawings, and support plans-to ensure enduring mission sustainment and operational readiness. Additionally, the candidate will exhibit measurable skill in identifying and resolving data discrepancies across diverse information systems while operating independently to successfully manage competing deadlines across multiple high-priority projects.

Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support.
2. Knowledge of required safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
3. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, with technical accuracy and to use computers and a variety of software programs and databases, gather and analyze a variety of program information, make sound judgments concerning program progress, and effectively communicate recommendations orally and in writing to higher organizational management and contractors.
4. Ability to plan, organize, analyze problems, translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, evaluate options, conduct research, summarize results, make appropriate recommendations, and manage critical aspects of service contract requirements as related to the assigned functional area and meet deadlines.
