You will conduct ongoing unit needs assessments to develop and modify a prevention plan aimed at reducing/eliminating substance abuse.
You will perform administrative duties, such as record keeping, preparation of statistical reports and other miscellaneous reports and documents.
You will coordinate prevention efforts with the installation Drug Demand Reduction
Coordinator and the Substance Abuse Counseling Center.
You will identify, evaluate, and recommend the referral of drug/alcohol abusers to the Substance Abuse Counseling Center via the Commanding Officer for screening and counseling.
You will maintain an effective urinalysis and alcohol screening program per Marine Corps policies. Submits required drug and alcohol abuse reports.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provide substance abuse prevention, urine collection for drug testing, breathalyzer test for alcohol screening, assistance to the commander on substance abuse related matters, and rudimentary substance abuse screening and referral services.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on equivalent combination of education and experience, as follows:
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent
