You will provide technical leadership and expertise to the Operations branch, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of IT systems and networks.

You will represent the IT branch in department-wide meetings and workgroups, providing technical expertise and guidance.
You will lead teams on multiple projects, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and collaboration among team members.
You will analyze complex issues and determine the best course of action, providing technical expertise and guidance to IT staff and stakeholders.
You will build coalitions within the Division, as well as across the Warfare Center and NAVSEA Enterprise, to support IT operations and achieve organizational goals and objectives.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12)dealing with the following: evaluating network infrastructure, service delivery, and providing technical input to service providers; technical expertise and leadership in one or more of the following IT areas: Windows Domain, Linux administration, Cloud, networking infrastructure, WAN connections, and remote site VPNs; shared services and cloud based architectures, high performance computing and big data analytics platforms.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
