Duties

Help
  • Serve as the expert on the interpretation of legal and regulatory requirements for all matters related to executive resources programs to include recruitment/staffing, classification, performance and compensation.
  • Plan, organize, monitor and direct the activities of the executive resources team ensuring that HR services comply with statutory, regulatory, and agency requirements.
  • Develop and/or presents training to address executive resources development needs as well as to convey new processes/procedures.
  • Find and implement ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and improve business practices.
  • Perform less than 25% of supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications


Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes:

  • Executing or managing the delivery of executive resources/HR services, including classification, position management, recruitment, and performance; and
  • Resolving complex HR issues for customers including career, non-career senior executives, senior professionals and Schedule C employees; and
  • Ensuring compliance with governing HR laws and regulations; and
  • Advising leadership on policies related to executive resources programs.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer.
