As a Financial Management Analyst, GS-0501-9/11/12, the incumbent will perform a variety of financial management duties and must have knowledge of financial principles and procedures in carrying out assignments.
Summary

As a Financial Management Analyst, GS-0501-9/11/12, the incumbent will perform a variety of financial management duties and must have knowledge of financial principles and procedures in carrying out assignments.
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of segments of Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) financial management policies and procedures used for administering these programs.
Analyze and reconcile state expenditures, budget information, and other financial data/reports to identify areas of vulnerabilities.
Evaluate state requests related to Medicaid and CHIP financial management and policy issues to ensure compliance with regulations.
Interact and collaborate with a team to effectively to provide oversight of program financial policies, activities, and operations.
Conduct reviews of new and revised regulations to assess the impact on program administration.
