Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Tools and Parts Attendant ~ without more than normal supervision. Must possess the ability to perform common duties which include interpreting and applying warehouse plans and methods to perform warehousing techniques such as receiving, storing, issuing and re-warehousing materials. I can check numbers and names of items on container labels to receive documents. I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.- Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
Performs work on hard surfaces and work areas that require intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, and bending. Intermittently lifts and carries items up to 20 pounds. Hand trucks, forklifts, dollies, and other workers are available for assistance with heavier items.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in areas with various degrees of heating, cooling, ventilation, and lighting. Is exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises. The wearing of safety shoes and safety glasses is required. Indoor/outdoor work is required regardless of prevailing weather conditions.
