Accuracy of financial reporting; controls over cash and negotiable instruments; propriety and validity of payroll actions; implementation of Army's Internal Control Program.
valuates programs effectiveness and progress against milestone data, participates in in-process reviews and briefings at activity levels, immediately notifies supervisor when potential fraud is identified and recommends adjustments if required.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
1. Progressive work experience, which demonstrates an acquired knowledge of the theories, principals, practices and techniques of performing investigations and studies as described above.
2. Must have knowledge of double-entry accrual method of accounting demonstrated through work experience or education that reflects ability to perform audit assignments.
3. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
4. Experience in word-processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
5. Must have experience in leading or working in a team.
6. Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
1. Three (3) years experience within Army Family & MWR financial management operations, demonstrating knowledge of NAF accounting systems, financial reporting and operation oversight of MWR activities.

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
