Help
  • Serves as the senior construction engineer with full technical responsibility for quality assurance of the large and diversified Military, Civil Works and Host Nation construction programs for Pacific Ocean Division (POD).
  • Provides programmatic, policy and oversight of District Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) programs for construction activities.
  • Serves as the POD Design and Construction Evaluation (DCE) program manager.
  • Serves as the POD Supervision and Administration (S&A) account manager.
  • Provides policy and guidance to Districts on the use of the construction management system.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) responsible for engineering functions required for a construction program which consists of design, procurement, and construction of large-scale projects; 2) coordinate and conduct quality assurance for engineering design and construction projects; and 3) provide technical advice in developing and executing policies, procedures, and criteria of design and construction for civil and/or military facility programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-13.

Selective Placement Factor: Professional registration as a licensed Professional Architect or Professional Engineer is required for this position. A current registration MUST be uploaded with your application package.

Education
